I love this series and this Author. I am very frustrated with the fact that this series and her Dark-Elves of Nightbloom series have missing books. Now the next titles in the series sets no longer exist and the new books are months from release and only on pre-order.

The blade and rose is a great series. However, it is incomplete. We were promised a book 5 The Dragon King (out April 2020). I preordered it, but it never came out. Now you want people to preorder book 6. (Supposed to be out Nov. 2020). I for one am very disappointed in this author and Amazon.

I use to love this series but when it came to book 5 that was supposd to be out by 2018 -2019 the release keeps being pushed back to the point that its become no longer an interest for me to follow this series. When I posted how I felt on he Street Team and said I was leaving a friend of the author texted me as nasty message.

I used to be a huge fan of this author, but after so many let downs and excuses I feel as if she couldn't care less about her fans or customers. We are always told the book will release in a few months but it's pulled as soon as it get close to release. 1 or 2 times I can maybe understand but I no longer believe she will ever release the next book. Such a disappointment

Paladins, mages, & mythical beasts with more than a dash of romance, lovers triangles, and mysterious identities... all of it presented in a gloriously fun read that grips your attention from the start and does not let go. I started reading this on Kindle Unlimited and quickly decided to buy the paperbacks to have them on my shelf, too. I have read the first 4 books of the series and the novella Winter Wren and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. This series will rip your heart to shreds, make you cry, then rebuild you back up - many times over.

I love the main character, Rielle. She is independent, smart, strong, feisty, and quite opinionated. And, even better, she makes mistakes just like the rest of us and deals with the fallout. The other characters are delightful, too. The growth in all of them from the beginning of book one through the end of book four is a wonderful journey that I have felt privileged to be included in. There is more than one contender for Rielle's heart, and sometimes you're cheering for one and disliking the others, then next thing you know, you're disliking the first and cheering for a different one - part of that ripping your heart to shreds thing I mentioned in the opening paragraph, haha! The side stories are just as well written and thought out as the main story, with rich characters and locations throughout the whole series.

I am looking forward to the release of the 5th and 6th books and will buy the paperbacks as soon as they are available, whether I've read them or not on Kindle yet. I am that confident that I will enjoy the rest of the series as much as I have the books so far.

LOVE THIS SERIES

I am completely in love with this series. The world that Miranda Honfluer brought to life is so beautifully described and created so wonderfully. Each of the characters that we meet is dynamic and fully developed. Honfluer doesn't shy away from showing the darker side of her characters, nor does she jump over healing processes and how they differ for everyone.

It is one thing to write an amazing series, but it is something else to take your readers on a journey alongside your characters. I can not wait to see how the rest of this series will unfold.

Biography

Miranda Honfleur is a born-and-raised Chicagoan living in Indianapolis. She grew up on fantasy and science-fiction novels, spending nearly as much time in Valdemar, Pern, Tortall, Narnia, and Middle Earth as in reality.

In another life, her J.D. and M.B.A. were meant to serve a career in law, but now she gets to live her dream job: writing speculative fiction starring fierce heroines and daring heroes who make difficult choices along their adventures and intrigues, all with a generous (over)dose of romance.

When she’s not snarking, writing, or reading her Kindle, she hangs out and watches Netflix with her husband, gets constantly tackled by her dogs Gizmo and Luna, and plays board games with her friends.
