Customer Reviews
The best music podcast out there!
I NEEDED this in my life! Verite is an incredible host, each guest brings so much wisdom and personality to the show, and they talk authentically & openly about what it’s like to make a living in music. There’s such a misconception about the endless ways you can build a career, and the podcast is dedicated to breaking down the walls in an industry that profits off smoke and mirrors (thanks Pell)! Great idea, great execution. Bravo Verite 👏🏼
VÉRITÉ kills it with a refreshing look into the music industry from artist viewpoints
One of my favorite podcasts to listen to! I've followed VÉRITÉ's work as an artist for many years now and she brings the same energy and commitment into her podcast "Anatomy of an Artist". She sits down with artists, producers, songwriters, audio engineers, etc. who have had various levels of interaction with the music industry and gets their take on their experiences. In addition, she drives discussions about working as an independent versus being signed artist, and the advantages and disadvantages that come with those paths. The conversations also delve into each guest's (and her) insights and thoughts about the components that make up the "Anatomy of an Artist" and that your normal fan or listener might not ever have thought or known about. All in all, an easy listen that keeps you engaged and can teach you a thing or two about the musical landscape. Listen to this now!
